There, you will find opportunities to serve in the ministry and apply for positions. If you're a current volunteer and have unfinished classes on FCA University, we do ask that you finish them by this coming Friday. All finished classes will transfer over to the new VIP. In most sports, decisions are made in mere seconds. Am I going to swing at this pitch or not? Pass the ball to this player or the other? Run this play or another. Any hesitation in these matters could lose you any advantage you had over your opponent.   You might have heard your coach talk about committing to your decision and pursuing it with 100 percent effort. Most coaches will be more upset that you didn’t commit to the decision rather than you making the wrong one.   My husband is an example of this kind of coach. In golf, there are countless ways to play each shot. After a shot was made, no matter the outcome, he asked his players, “Did you commit to it?” If they answer yes, he reminds them, “That’s all that matters.”   We will mess up in our sport and life. God knows this and even expects us to mess up, so he gives us the instructions for repentance. What we can control is choosing to be all in with serving God and keeping His commandments.   If we sit and hesitate to follow God’s word, we leave ourselves open to being attacked by the enemy. This hesitation leaves a crack where Satan can plant doubts and turn our eyes away from God. If we hurry to keep God’s commands, we commit all we have to Him and leave nothing behind.   So, choose to be all in for Jesus in a world where indecisiveness rules the minds of our peers. We can choose a life of decisive victory in Christ by looking toward Him and following His commands with haste. Author Chrystal Cowan Chrystal grew up with FCA as a cornerstone of her walk with the Lord. She graduated from Belmont University and was on FCA Staff in Tennessee for four years. She now lives in Hattiesburg, Miss., with her husband, Colton, the women's golf coach at Southern Mississippi University. They welcomed their first daughter, Collins, in June of 2023.

This Saturday we are RACING! Out at Woodward Park we are part of the Fleet Feet Summer Sizzle 2-mile run. Cross Country teams from around the valley will be there to compete! It's a great premier before the season begins! Races begin at 7:30am so get there early for a good parking spot. This year FCA is interviewing two college athletes from the Central Valley.
