Jon & Andrea Shabaglian

Music Minister and Psalmist Mission Founder

Jon Shabaglian is a gifted recording artist and music minister who combines soulful vocals & scripture-filled melodies, to help bring God's hand and people's hands together.  Compelled to create in light of God's heart for people, Jon has led many music missions trips internationally, led music videos and along with his 8th record entitled "Bow Everything" & recent single "Symphony of Peace" that includes the Psalmist grads they've mentored.  After 20 years as a worship minister in California, Jon now leads Psalmist Mission, as the founder of a music mission work that trains worship leaders and musicians across California in their 9-month worship cohort (PsalmistMission.org) He has been married to his beautiful wife Andrea for 21 years and have 2 precious children, Christopher (age 16) and Symphony (age 1).  Together they call their family "Ohana" as a reminder that no one gets left behind or forgotten.

Paul & Glenda Lyons

Coach Paul grew up in the Congo as a missionary kid. His schooling was done in Congo, Tanzania and Kenya. He met his bride, Glenda in 1966, in Portland, Oregon while attending Judson Baptist College. Coach graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 1971, majoring in Physical Ed and a strong minor in History and Bible. He and Glenda were married in 1970. 

Paul began teaching in 1971 and taught two years in Washington. Then God called both he and his bride to Taiwan, where they taught and worked at Morrison Academy for two years and had their first child, a daughter, in Taiwan. Returning to the states in 1975, they were employed by Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville and worked there for 25 years. In 1978, their second child, a son was born.  In 2000 God called them to San Diego to work at Santa Fe Christian Schools and were there for 21 years. It was at Santa Fe Christian that he started a mission outreach program, taking students to France, Italy, Haiti, India, Russia, Thailand, Uganda, Rwanda, Dominican Republic and Mexico. 

Their daughter Kelle is married to Arron Bond and their son Jeremiah is a junior in high school. Kelle and Aaron teach apologetics at Capo Valley Christian in San Juan Capistrano. Their son, Kipp and his wife Sarah, live in Rancho Santa Marquerite. Sarah is pre-K teacher and Kipp is on disability. They have two children, Tanner 18 and Peyton 17 

Coach retired with his bride in 2021, having taught for 50 years and of those 50 years, he and his bride were on the same campuses 43 years. Coach played soccer at the collegiate level and coached the sport for 35 years. He also played rugby for 22 years in Africa, Taiwan, Washington and California. He was also involved in sports ministry for 32 years, using the sport of soccer. He was blessed to be able to share Jesus with thousands of individuals in Israel, Jordon, China, Thailand, Germany, Holland, Italy, Austria, England, South Africa, Kenya, Lesotho, Swaziland, Nigeria and some 24 different states in the US. 

Coach and his bride also mentor former players and students. They have some 31 individuals not counting their spouses. Coach connects with them every Monday morning with a text and calls 17 of them every Saturday and has been calling them for the last 21 years. He writes a devotional about twice a month. 

Coach will gladly admit that the rock in his life is his bride of 56 years. She has journeyed with him in his coaching and teaching both domestic and overseas.
