Huddle Training

EVERY GREAT FCA HUDDLE HAS A PLAN!

We are coaching up the students in how to run a successful FCA Club meeting or in this case a Huddle.  We are a student lead club on our campuses by law.  So what is the direction that we take to run a successful meeting?

Check-off List for Success

NEED SOME GUIDANCE ON HUDDLE'S?

1. INCLUDE YOUR ATHLETIC TEAMS

2. MAKE YOUR SPEAKER FEEL AT HOME

3. PRE-PLANNING

RUNNING A SMOOTH HUDDLE CAN TAKE SOME PRACTICE BUT ONCE YOU KNOW YOUR DIRECTION

IT'LL RUN LIKE A CHAMP!

Prepare for Success:

-Once a month meet in Coach's/Advisors room and prepare for the month.

-Who will be welcoming, introducing, finding speakers, connect with church, who will be praying for games and injured...

Huddle Script:

Have leaders at the door welcoming attendees.

1. Welcome Everybody  (Bring the Energy)

2. Introduce themselves (Hi, I'm _____ and I play ______)

3. Competition update (What's the athletic schedule this week?)

4. Injury Report (Anybody we can pray over?)

5. Prayer for athletes & coaches, the injured and speaker.

6. Intro speaker (Get the bio one week before they arrive).

7. Quick Reflection on what the speaker spoke about.

8. Thank the speaker and the church who brought the food.

9. Preview next Huddle. (When are we meeting next?)

10. Close in prayer.

Game or no game?

That is up to you based on the time you have!  Icebreakers are a fun way to get interaction between members.
