Director of Women's Ministry

I was born and raised in Carmel Valley CA, met Ron “Pup” Nelson while attending SCC (VUSC) in 1984. We married in 1993 and are proud parents of Zach, Sam, and Ruthie. Pup was in youth ministry for 20 years, coached baseball for many of those years in some capacity, and now serves as NorCal Director for FCA. I have learned and grown in the role of wife to Pup through youth ministry and coaching, balancing life and parenting, as well as having 18 years of teaching experience. In June 2017, I joined FCA staff, as Director of Women’s ministry in Central California to mentor and lead coaches wives, female coaches and athletes encouraging and supporting them through Bible study, one on one mentoring and hosting annual date nights and Coaches Time Out marriage retreats.
