    Remember the Titans for sure.

  • What's your favorite scripture and Why?

“Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:29-31 I like this verse because I like the reminder to always be a daughter of God.

  • Why is Christ so important in the world of sports?

Many Christians believe that taking care of their bodies is a form of honoring God, as the body is considered a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Engaging in sports helps maintain physical health and fitness. Sports often teach valuable life lessons such as discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and humility. These qualities are also emphasized in Christian teachings and can help individuals grow in their faith. Participating in sports can foster a sense of community and fellowship. It provides opportunities for Christians to build relationships, support one another, and share their faith in a social setting. Sports can be a platform for Christians to share their faith with others. By demonstrating good sportsmanship and integrity, Christians can be a positive witness to their teammates and competitors. Engaging in sports can provide a healthy outlet for stress and a source of joy and recreation. This can contribute to overall well-being, which is important for a balanced and fulfilling life. The Bible contains several references to athletic metaphors, such as running a race (Hebrews 12:1) and fighting the good fight (1 Timothy 6:12). These metaphors highlight the importance of striving towards spiritual goals with the same dedication and effort as an athlete. In summary, sports can be a way for Christians to honor their bodies, develop character, build community, share their faith, relieve stress, and draw inspiration from biblical teachings.
